On-Demand Automated Voice Messaging

SoundBite Communications Inc., a leading provider of outbound Interactive Voice Messaging solutions (IVM), today announced it has expanded its global reach with solutions now available in the European market. Building on its rapid success in the United States, SoundBite's move into this new market will provide its industry-leading IVM solutions to both foreign and U.S.-based companies seeking to connect with European customers from its new call distribution center in London.

SoundBite completed development and construction of the international call distribution center in February and is now equipped with the unique provisions required to manage and deliver IVM calls to and from the various countries of Europe.

SoundBite's IVM solutions provide organizations with the ability to simultaneously contact large numbers of customers with true voice communications and to immediately interact with their responses. The company's clients are using the sophisticated technology to communicate with and serve their customers in a faster, more cost efficient manner with such applications as delivery confirmations, premium renewals, payment reminders and customer satisfaction surveys. Similar to domestic IVM "SoundBites," the international versions incorporate a broad range of interactive functions including One Touch keypad response, Direct Connect to a live representative, Dynamic Intelligence script branching, Info Capture of personal data and Personalized Notification.

"We are excited about the opportunity to leverage SoundBite's interactive voice messaging service in our European marketing activities," said Gloria Adams, vice president of circulation, PennWell Corporation. "We have seen great success in leveraging SoundBite to deliver important information to our customers in the U.S. and we are confident that SoundBite will have the same impact for us in Europe."

"Many of our customers with a global presence have been eager to extend their use of interactive SoundBites into other countries where they have additional customer relationships," said John McDonough, CEO of SoundBite. "Our expanded geographic reach gives these clients the opportunity to capitalize on the effectiveness and efficiencies they realize domestically in their global marketing campaigns as well."

SoundBite's new European capacity will be marketed both directly and through an OEM channel of European-based partners. "We have already experienced considerable interest from European companies who have seen what SoundBite has been able to do for companies in the US market," McDonough said.
