SoundBite Communications Named to Collection Advisor Magazine's Top 100 Collection Technology Products for 2005
Honor Announced at CAT Expo in Las Vegas, Nov. 17, 2005
SoundBite Communications announced its selection as one of Collection Advisor magazine’s Top 100 Collection Technology Products for 2005. The announcement was made by Harry A. Strausser III, president of Remit Corporation, former chair of the ACA and emcee of the recently concluded CAT Expo, which took place November 16-18, 2005 in Las Vegas.
SoundBite Communications’ hosted, OnDemand Customer Communications platform was selected as one of the Top 100 Collection Technology Products of the year by the magazine and was one of seven interactive voice response products chosen for this award. This is the first year the magazine bestowed an honor of this kind on products and services in the collections industry, and was a highlight of CAT Expo, an educational forum for the collections profession sponsored by the magazine.
SoundBite Communications is an application service provider that helps clients optimize collections by delivering personalized, professionally recorded interactive voice messages to their customers. First- and third-party collections environments benefit from a higher number of right-party contacts, increased debt recovery, improved agent productivity and shortened debt collection cycles.
“All of the companies honored as one of the Top 100 Collection Technology Products represent not only market leaders, but smaller, niche companies who present true innovation and insight within the industry,” says Editor/Publisher of Collection Advisor T. Allen Rose. “On behalf of the magazine, we are very pleased to bestow this honor on these very worthy companies.”
“We are honored to have received this award,” said Peter Shields, president and CEO of SoundBite Communications. “It’s a testament to the results our customers are realizing by leveraging our hosted platform to help increase their return on collections efforts.”
The Top 100 Collection Technology products are spread across 13 categories, including Commercial, Small Office, Mid-Range and High-End Collection Software; Scoring; Legal; Medical; Banking; Mailing Services; Electronic Payment; Skip Tracing; Predictive Dialers; and Interactive Voice Response. The comprehensive list will be featured in the magazine’s January/February 2006 issue, along with a companion story honoring the Top 50 Most Influential Collection Professionals for 2005 – another “first” honor of its kind for the profession.
