O.C. mobile marketing firm sold for $3.2 million

June 28, 2011 - SmartReply, an Irvine mobile marketing pioneer, has been sold to SoundBite Communications Inc. in Bedford, Mass., for $3.2 million plus a potential for additional payout depending on revenues in the next three years.

SoundBite provides cloud-based proactive customer communications, which says this acquisition can expand SoundBite's mobile marketing and expansion in the retail industry.
