Job Summary:
SoundBite is looking for an experienced sales representative with a solid history of successful sales performance, that thrives in a fast-paced, cutting-edge, technology-driven environment. This position will focus primarily on solution-selling for the Financial industry. You will generate new sales as well as manage existing customer accounts and sales. Leverage your professional solution-based selling skills to create a strong pipeline of new clients in the retail industry.

Key Functions/Responsbilities:

  • Provide senior sales leadership in the financial industry.
  • Build strategic relationships and understand client’s business to provide strategic consultative services
  • Drive the sales activities of the finanical industry and provide detailed, accurate monthly forecasts.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals by selling SoundBite's OnDemand Customer Communications platform
  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients; and strategize, present and demonstrate a tailored technology solution.
  • Develop an understanding of the customer's business objectives in order to map a strategy consisting of software, training, and implementation as a solution to those business objectives.
  • Prospect and develop new accounts while maintaining and growing sales within existing accounts

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree is required, MBA preferred
  • 7 to 10 years of sales experience combined with demonstrated success selling into the financial industry
  • Consistent "Top 10%" performer; President's Club or equivalent
Competencies and Attributes:
  • Experienced in Solution and/or Strategic Selling methodologies.
  • Highly knowledgeable of technology industry trends and strategies as they relate to the financial industry
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • In addition, the candidate will possess the ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, have superior organizational/time management skills and possess a make-it-happen attitude.
