Senior Product Manager
Job Summary:
The Senior Product Manager will have direct involvement in guiding new and existing product solutions and ensure the product alignment across company vision, goals and timeframes. The successful candidate will embrace end to end ownership of the product lifecycle and have a strong understanding and interest in the success and demonstrated ROI of the product. This candidate will work seamlessly in cross functional teams which include Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Client Management, prospects and clients.
Key Functions/Responsbilities:
- Distill and document the extensive requirement lists of various constituencies (end-users, development, marketing and sales teams) into actionable and detailed product plans
- Build relationships with customers, vendors and partners
- Maintain 12-24 month Product Roadmap
- Create detailed Product Requirement Documents using multi-source input from sales/client management/R&D/competitive analysis/current and potential customers
- Manage general availability roll-out of releases
- Working with internal teams, manage product change requests
- Assist in identifying new vendor/partner relationships that will add strategic value to product/solution offer
- Support the Sales organization through participation in customer calls, assistance with RFPs, creation of support documentation and presentations to customers
- Create relevant product documentation in support of Sales, Marketing and Client Management efforts
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a related field
- MBA preferred
- 7+ years of progressive growth in Product Management
- Hands-on experience with software product development processes
- Strong knowledge of applicable business disciplines and supporting technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant applications and product lifecycle management
- Strong customer interfacing skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel
